the commercial makes the most sense to do 141. i got hired at my first CFI job with 207 hrs. I did my multi comm first with a single engine add on, but only because that's how my university did it. It is definately more expensive, but it made me a whole lot more confident. I had plenty of time in a single and i really think that flying a multi is a whole lot more responsibility than just an add on. this also made me a better MEI when the time came. finances are important though, but i liked the way we did it.
