Don't you love rumors. I currently work at Hillsboro. The pay is based off your dual given until you get to 750 Dual given, then its based off your total time. I started at 17.50 an hour. Pay starts at 16/hr for fixed wing CFI's with zero dual given. There is no training contract or agreement. And as far as 12 hour days go, thats pretty hard to do when you are only allowed to fly 8. Hillsboro only expects you to be available 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. I worked as a CFI/CFII/MEI at another smaller flight school for the last year and i can tell everyone here the Hillsboro Aviation is an outstanding company that takes very good care of their CFI's.
