To the newly appointed staffing gurus:
Reserves and Open Time are very expensive so get ready for some serious disagreements with the people you have to convince. It's hard to make a business case for pilot QOL or more premium pay for a labor group that is viewed as highly compensated.
Don't just staff to run the airline.
Staff to keep your promises.
White Papers number 1 was used as a justification for weak base pay.
