I don't know about the rest of you - but I'm on the hair trigger to walk away from this biz - and I don't want anyone to lose their job but the attitude of either cave to their demands or shut it down is what put our profession down to the level of making less than most unskilled labor. Its a fact that there is an over capacity (when it comes to people out there that can and will pay for what a ticket SHOULD be). There ought to be some cuts and companys that go away to correct this and bring back some sanity to being profitable and giving us our due. - aviation is expensive no matter how you look at it - after spending the time/money/personal sacrifices I think we ought to be paid a professional wage or shut it down. Its sad that I'd be taking a pay cut moving from flying a greasy old chieftain thats older than I am to flying a 70 seat RJ. unless I get a decent offer or things turn around in another year or so I think I'll have to punch out. Skyhigh may have been far more correct/realistic than we really want to give him credit for.
