How can you, on one hand denigrate the job of being a professional pilot and encourage all on this forum to give up on the dream and select another career, but on the other hand say that you would jump back into the game in a heart beat?? Don’t you find that to be a little hypocritical?? Please explain.
I have already wasted my education, youth and burned my cash on training expenses. It is too late for me. If Alaska Airlines were to offer me a class date I would take it to satisfy a residual dream from childhood. However the reality is that it probably wouldn't be that great. Though I have always dreamed of having one of those corny pictures taken while in uniform and once it was secure on the wall I would most likely quit.
