So you're rationalizing taking someone elses job because you can go snorkling. The two worst things you can do in this industry is 1. Be a scab and 2. Pay to fly. If you don't have the experience to get a paying job flying a turbine aircraft then go flight instruct, instead of doing anything to get in a turbine aircraft. Heres a question for you do you think you are more deserving of a turbine job than all the furloughes out there who have thousands more hours than you do? If you say no, then don't defend what you're doing. If you say yes, don't ever so up at an interview and tell everyone you paid to fly.
