All I can think is you are comparing Pacific Wings FO pay to Regional FO pay, which you can't because the airplane does not require an FO. So why would the company pay an FO 50,000 a year for a single pilot airplane? Pizza delivery guys make 8 bucks an hour, which the only pay you could compare that to is Lakes and Mesa. Trust me it is not a bad place to be right now, There are a lot of pilots looking for any kind of flying with no luck. No Captain at Pacific Wings is lowering the bar for anybody, for that you must look to Mesa, Lakes, etc.
I might be willing to hear lowering the bar statements from those who work at XJT or Eagle, but from a single engine driver who tosses bags and plays reservation agent? I don't think you're in any position to make those statements. Last time I checked my training didn't cover safe lifting techniques.
