It's only because they have no pilots, and therefore nobody to screw up the job economically, the way they've done in the US. Wait five years, and if enough U.S. pilots come over to India and sell out the experienced expats and the few indigenous Indian pilots, the job will pay as little in India as it now does in the U.S.
If the economy over in India tanks y,all can forget about working the old curry express because they,ll start tossing expats under the bus real fast like once they get their folks trained.
