As it is, who ever wrote that about the "gap" was completely wrong. Dojetdriver was well within the regs getting his ATP with a 9 year expired written at another carrier. I didn't miss anything. Read what I wrote. If currently furloughed and its expired then you're sol. If you got hired or recalled tomorrow then your written would be valid again. It's in the second to last sentence.
