And then it is usually very close to the 5 kts added one had set already.
I say just leave the A/T on until 50ft. This way we don't have to listen to dumb request when the winds are light and variable.

A/T on until 50 feet? You mean you actually land with the engines running? What a wuss - its much more challenging to shut them down and glide in - of course to do this you need to know the winds and the length of final.
