Ski Dubai is a blast! Arrive after 2PM, pay for 2 hours and get to ski for six hours. Bring gloves if you want to ski the slalom gates, saves the knuckles. Also bring some wax (F4 rub-on works) since the skis are p-tex and not much more.

Try to get a hotel bus there though, the taxis will be about $25 or so each way.

At 3 minutes per run, including the poma-pull, you can knock down 4,000 vertical feet if you really hump it. Shooting for 20,000 vertical feet next time...
