Our FBO didn't want the walls plastered with shirts, so I'd cut them and bring the back of the shirt home to decorate while the student got to parade around with a shredded shirt. I'd take the back piece home and decorate it with something funny and then give that back to them.

A lot of FBO's I worked for hung up the piece cut off the back until the student got their ticket and then they gave them it so make room for new students' shirt scraps.

I still have the one my instructor made for me...somewhere...
