Let me put the ball in your court again. What you are saying about Gojets, could easily be said about you. You seem to be all bothered about them taking "your job," but are more than happy to have the airplanes on your property and taking a job away from a mainline pilot. Have you even realized that mainline is furloughing because they are getting rid of the guppy, and these are the Replacement Jets for the guppy along with the aircraft you fly at TSA, and at the other express carriers. Do you see or hear any mainline pilots dening you jump seats or calling you out in the terminal. I for one don't and I am one of those losing my job next year. Yes we gave up the flying just as you guys gave up the flying also (which I believe is the reason TSA lost on the scope in court.)
Well, the thing is, if mainline proposed just taking it all back, we'd all be very happy to go along and take seniority numbers at mainline... Even stapled to the bottom! As for why mainline guys aren't denying us jumpseats? They're the ones who said they didn't want to fly the RJ's in the first place... We would ALL be better off right now if they'd kept all jet flying at mainline... But that's history, so all we can do is try to keep the bar as high as we can... That's the major problem with the Hojet people, the sole purpose of that airline is to lower the bar and keep the TSA pilots from being paid fairly. THAT is why we hate them, that is why they're not ever welcome on our jumpseats.
