Don't know how long you've been Brown, or why you would say that, but I totally disagree. While I was still a new-hire, in basic indoc, the Teamsters went out on strike. We were threatened with discharge if we didn't show up for class. The union called the Teamsters and they established a picket at the training center so we wouldn't be put in a bad position vs the Company. They didn't have to do that, especially since we were on probation. YMMv, but I think the IPA does a fairly balanced job of looking after the various constituencies.
