We are way over staffed on the -8 for current flying. -200 less retirements than planned for this year and a HORRIBLE economy with freight down 9% this year. DHL deal rumored to be a fraction of what they thought, if at all.
No way those FAVRE's in ANC are going anywhere now with losing 30% of their retirement.
You drop the -8, you can cut all the over 65 FE's, the bottom 70 FE's are to JR to displace anywhere. How many does that add up to? Too many.
Oh well, I give up. Repeated attempts to shed light on your employer is met with certitudes of furlough. Enjoy. Guess we'll see if UPS will concede market share to Fedex. If so, I was wrong and you all were right. <g> Out of this discussion.
