CheyDogFlies - I guess you must be based in a very sunny domicile where the positive attitude prevails because personally I've been hearing those rumors from both junior and some senior guys for months now.

I see your concern and trust me, I'm as worried as you are, however what do you want the union, the other pilots or even the management to do about this rumor? I mean until ATL makes the final decision not even the Pope himself will know what to tell you.

So my point is, are we really better off when we keep scaring ourselves or should we realize that anything is possible, enjoy what we got for now and try to save some money just in case?

If the second scenario sounds better to you - is there really anything that the union could do right now? Until there is an announcement they will know as much as we do, maybe even less...
