Default Military Pilot

I see that you remember what I said about not being a professional pilot - but a professional military officer. I would bet that it is not only me that would espouse that idea also - at least in the Marines. Ask other current or former Marine aviators on the forum and see if you get the same answer. I feel secure in my guess that you would get a majority of the same answer from others.

USMCFLYR

I agree. People who are in the military should be dedicated to the military first and to aviation second.

One of my oldest friends from college is a former USMC pilot. He left many years at a major airline (not furloughed just walked away) to take a desk job because he was tired of being on the road all the time and did not believe in his future anymore.
