Sky, it seems like your role here is to simply tell folks they are "delusional" if they want it in the first place.
Who are you to tell them they have a "problem", if they "want it"? State your facts. State what happened to you. But bashing folks because they want a career in aviation is completely uncalled for.

I did not "bash" anyone. Wouldn't you agree that an important part of deciding upon an airline career is to assess if it would be a good fit or not? Isn't risk assessment and predictions about the future of the industry a good thing to consider? We all agree that flying the plane is great, however that does not mean that it would make for a good career.
It is easy to "want" the fantasy, however it is the reality that people have to live with. My goal is to keep reminding people of what they are up against.
