I recall when CO was welcomed back into ALPA, and the CO MEC passed a resolution demanding fair treatment of scabs on their seniority list. I remember that CO scabs were not to be harassed, sent any bills for back dues or discriminated against. They also had to be given unconditional membership in ALPA with no strings.

The message this sends? It's okay to cross an ALPA picket line as a scab, take someone else's job, then later all will be forgiven and you can join ALPA. Then, ALPA might even help you by negotiating a big pay raise for the B-777/787s you'll be flying.

Again, the message is---scabbing pays, and it is okay with ALPA to cross picket lines they set up.
