I'm still half-convinced that the BOS closure was a ploy to get some senior pilots to leave. BOS was very senior and very small with the majority of pilots senior and not wanting to commute. I think they thought most of the very senior captains would be angry enough by the closure to leave. Unfortunately we now have more senior commuters at the remaining bases. I figure BOS will open back up in 2 years. Makes ya feel real warm and fuzzy doesn't it?
