The 80s make MONEY for AA below $100 a barrel, the fact where oil is today is leading much school house talk (I know, I know, school house talk) to the 80s not being parked, in fact some one said one was just taken out of storage.. Te latest from a few checkairman is the 80s will stay and 737s will replace some 757 flying, leaving the 757 to make headway to new destinations.
We also have a potentially large amount of pilots retiring Dec 1st.
If we do keep the 80s and take delivery of the 3 737 a month (now delayed till March with the strike) we could recall early this spring.
