Turning 40
I am turning forty over the weekend and many people are wondering if I will start my mid-life crisis soon. I just keep thinking "how can I have a mid-life crisis when thanks to aviation I have been in a permanent state of crisis since I was 17". It seems to me that one needs a long period of unchanging boredom in order to feel the need for a crisis. These days all I long for is a state of stability.
