The weight of the earth is 0. The original question on the oral was probably a "trick" question from the examiner. Like all objects "hanging" in space, the earth is "weightless".

However, the figure you quote above is the calculated "mass" of the earth.

The strangest question(s) I was ever asked in an interview: 1. If you were a color, what color would you be? 2. What was the last thing you cleaned?
