footnote: as a Controller, I'm highly disappointed with the ATC exhibit at the museum. It is sparse and doesn't even begin to represent the NAS system. Don't waste your time with it. The observation tower has nothing in it. Had I been the curator, I would have set it up to look and feel like a real control tower, instead of a big, empty room. Also, the tracon room below it has 1 radar display behind a glass wall and a tv showing a looped-video of a bunch of FAA talking heads...Booooorrrring ! Skip it and go watch an Imax instead.
