Yes but for the past 35 years Southwest has only been making money. And they are only going to continue. They seem to know what they are doing. Once they start service to Mexico, if they do, that is only going to add to their success. New 70-100 seat planes will help their income as well. During those years SWA was the only airline making money. And they will continue for the next 27.
Unless that 70-100 seat airplane is a version of the 737, it will cause SWA to diverge from the path that's helped to keep them successful for all these years... One fleet type.
