We had a non ETOPs 757 go back to the leasing company in September. After paying for a heavy check (part of the lease return agreement) that took 12000 man hours the lessor then could not find someone to lease the aircraft. So it was parted out. This was a very high time/high cycle 757, one of the original Eastern 757s. It was available for purchase for 13 million but no one wanted it.
