The really disturbing part was she said they hire Panamanian pilots with around 250tt, and that she didn't believe they were completely honest with those hours, either. I don't know if that is true or not, but the whole operation seems pretty shady to me.
Thats the standard from Mexico all the way down to Argentina. If you really want to be terrified, the Mexican DGAC program calls for 180 hours, 10 multi, and 20 hours instrument training (no Instrument rating needed) and BAM you get to fly an airbus.
