I don't know how much it costs to get one running, but the ground equipment must be expensive, and the testing that goes into it must cost a pretty penny.
Sure, but a cool BILLION? That's Mesa's operating revenue for the last nine months! A BILLION? Unless that included property purchases to expand the runway, someone milked that project.
