I'm thankful that despite all the bad, and being on the street I should still get a recall early next year and get back at it. Also thankful that I found a job reletively quickly after the furlough notice went out that paid the bills in the short term, and a better job shortly thereafter that puts a few extra bucks in my pocket.

What I'm most thankful for is being home this Thanksgiving and Christmas after missing the last few because of work. Not having to preflight in ankle-deep type II is also kind of nice.

Furlough has it's advantages.
