Wow not many will be able to pull that off. Here we have several 15+ year guys, they are all lifers here. We have many 10+ year guys that probably will still go to a magor if the right opportunity comes along. We have 2 yes 2 guys that got DANG lucky and found themselves as CRJ 900 captains with less than a year at the company, however I believe they are both in their 30's already. We have a number of Saab captains that managed upgrade inside a year here as well. But that was mostly good timing or some people who were already at other regionals for a while that jumped over when we had the couple street captain classes. Either way it came down to luck and good timing. Had some of my classmates taken the recall a couple years ago they'd be a CRJ900 captain with me. They didn't and are now in very serious jeopardy of now being furloughed from Comair.
