Really doesn't surprise me. The jet had a ton of problems and I don't think it met a single performance promise. Years of delays, a certification that the Feds actually reconsidered and the jet was still unable to do many of the basics that it should (known Ice, at one time IMC) and an inept management.

The final nail was when experienced aircraft builders (Cessna, Embraer) got into the VLJ market.
