And thank goodness CAL and AMR have not given in on scope. It is no coincidence that it was CAL and AMR that stayed out of BK this last round. If AMR or CAL would have went into the courts, I would say there is about a 99% chance things would be different. UAL's scope was 50 seaters only AND the number of 50 seaters was tied to the number of mainline jets. Of course in bankruptcy, that changed to basically unlimited 70 seaters. Since then, destruction is a good word. 100's of 70 seaters flying in UAL colors, and 100's of mainline jets parked with 1000's furloughed, of course. Keep saying "NO WAY". Oh, and try to stay out of bankruptcy court.
