Heythey have a few group interview dates posted on their website, the interviews are in the next few weeks in MO and IL. I am 135 right now and trying to GTFO! I'm curious because days off are hard for me to get and if i call in sick for an interivew Ill be fired. Do you know if pilots are hired directly from group interviews and given class dates?
The group interview is part 1. Depending on circumstances, it may consist of simply a meet & greet, or they may administer written tests and maybe one-on-one informal interviews. They may invite you to part 2.
Part 2 is the real interview in SLC. It consists of written (ATP & Mechanical Aptitude), HR/Technical Interview(s), Sim Ride (Frasca or ATC 810), and CRM scenario in a cockpit mock-up. I'm pretty sure that you don't have to repeat stuff that you may have done in the group interview. During this process they will tell you either "No thanks, try again in 6 months", "Go home and wait to hear from us", or they may offer you a class date on the spot.
Some folks get invited to part 2 without attending part 1 just by submitting their resume (or getting it walked in)...do you have a CRJ type rating?
Nobody gets hired without attending part 2.
