The word from management?? Who would that be? Do you have a name or are you that management person that is trying to use scare tactics that are the oldest trick in the book. Kind of like that guy that says he knows of a guy that saw the donkey show in Mexico, no he never saw it, he knew of someone that did. I dont buy that garbage for one second and I dont think any pilot at JB is dumb enough to fall for it. Has an airline ever failed because of the pilots unionizing? I doubt it.
I was trying to be sarcastic. Geez. I was trying to make it sound as absurd as it in fact is. When a labor group is in negotiations for a new CB, or is trying to start a union, all you hear from MGMT is the Fear/doom/gloom story. Of course its all BS. They will tell you that the "company will grow but if you tie down the company's hands with a collective bargaining agreement no one will want to invest or take a risk in the company. The investors will be scared away by an organized work force." They will go on to tell you that "your organizational efforts will put their growth at risk". Its all a bunch of sheet. Some will buy into it though. Trust me on that. Maybe your management will take the high road on this and not fear-monger. I would be surprised, and if thats the case, consider yourself lucky.

I applaud you for your organizational effort and am excited that there are folks like you that are as fired up about as you appear to be. I know its hard to tell sarcasm on these msg fields so cut me some slack jack.

And Good Luck.
