I thought (was rumored) the new Delta was to experience a pilot shortage of 300 to 400 when the new JPWA staffing formula is in effect. Is this not true?
I think displacements are almost a given at this point. Our seniority list is really out of alignment so to speak. Now it's correcting as is evident by the last AE (went surprisingly senior). If equipment is moved, and it will be, displacements will probably follow. I think the shortage on the NWA side will be more than offset by "our" downsizing.
