I think considering the turmoil in this industry, we should be pretty grateful that the "F" word still hasn't surfaced. The company is well aware of the cost associated with all the training events, and the ripple effects that will cause them financially. I for one will just enjoy my work, while updating my resume if it comes to worse, and not trying to read too much into all these rumors about AE, or the SLI.
I think some of us newbies on property are spoiled to be able to base close to home, flying the ER across the pond. That's exactly why I never look down upon our brothers in DTW, flying the dc9 for 5 legs a day. Think back just a few years ago, we'd all be turning the whiz wheel, being a plumber for a few years before we could even fly the maddog.
Life's too short to care about things we have no control over.
