I would not accept 4-year degrees from places like ITT Tech, because their entire premise is that they bring "education" down to your level, as opposed to bringing YOU up to a higher standard...an ITT grad would not have all of the qualities for which I was offering a college-grad salary. I would accept an ITT type degree in lieu of an associates in a technical field.
I would not disqualify an ITT grad from a non-degree or associate's degree position.
However, in the case of a life experience degree...I would consider that fraudulent. So what if it's "accredited"...anyone can create an organization to "accredit" other organizations...probably for $499 a pop.
Anyone who is asking for a degree really wants more than just a piece of paper...otherwise they wouldn't bother. Save your money.
That ITT degree might be more useful than say a basket weaving 4 year degree at your local university though. But yea buying your degree for 400 dollars is pretty sad. There's something wrong when you see a DHL/UPS/Fedex logo on the more info page on your college website.
