I started helping out the FAs that I like and also so that I don't have to wait 30 minutes to go home... after the last leg all you want to do is run home, you know? It's not like I'm getting paid after we block in. So anyway, I started noticing that the FA started getting slower.. and slower. Like, I'd take out the trash and ice and dump the hot jugs and mind you this is AFTER I've done my own walk-around... and she's JUST starting to clean the seat pockets. One night she actually told me after I did the walkaround, "The hot jugs have water in them." (meaning that I should dump them.) I had no problem helping them out before without ever being asked, but after she said it like it was my JOB I was so turned off. This is what happens when you help them out too much.. they EXPECT it of you. Now I tell myself that I'm not going to help that thankless youknowwhat, but every night I find myself standing around waiting for her slowa$$ to finish her job I just get so exasperated that I end up helping her do her job.

I had a FA ask me what she was supposed to do with the bag of semi-melted ice. I've seen the ice thrown out the service door (not saying I like it, but hey it works), so I said "throw the ice out through the service door." She didn't get to this right away, however, as I was making my way around the nose to the right side of the airplane, the ice comes flying out,
still in the bag.
