He's simply stating the fact that because their not going to furlough, people will have jobs this holiday, that's it. It's just filler. Why would Mesa announce furloughs over three months ago, say the furloughs were going to happen in October, sit on them for three months delaying and delaying them and then cancel them after all of that, just to reinstate them two weeks later? Ok, again, I must comment. Don't mean to single you out just educate you. They announced in late September they would be furloughing 150 pilots. On October 3, myself and 14 other Mesa line pilots received notice that we would be furloughed as of Oct 19. So this e-mail was misleading making it seem like they never furloughed any of the 150. What about my holiday season? They gave me two weeks notice and I was done. Again, I don't mean to single you out but I have talked to several Mesa pilots and NO ONE knows people were furloughed unless you knew one of the lucky 15 that were actually furloughed. The company, nor ALPA, have sent out ANY communication about the furloughs that actually happened. Also remember this is in addition to the 49 pilots that were furloughed in mid July that were two weeks through in ground school....
