This is to all the Falcon 900 drivers out there...

I am looking for something positive to focus on so I figured why not ask about my dream airplane, the Falcon 900. 3 engines looks cool...I like the idea that if you lose an engine you are still a multi engine airplane!!!

I have noticed the cycle of getting an FO job on a cool type rated aircraft...you must have x amount of hours in type...but you have none in type because everyone requires you to already have time in type.

***Would it help my cause if I bought a type rating in one???***

So I was just curious as to how those of you who have made it to that Falcon 900 how you got there...did the company upgrade ac? did you start on a smaller ac and work your way up with in the company? Would it help if you bought a type rating in one, even if you didnt have time in it. I know the DA900 type is $37,000. Whatever details you can provide would be nice.
