Historically Federal Express was THE company that started the trend of humor in commercials. The beginning ones were fantastic. At our Falcon training center, they had a kiosk which held a TV and some sort of tape machine. You could pull up a chair, press the "Start" button, and watch almost every FedEx commercial ever made. They were fantastic.

During the same time, the UPS commercials were, well, just dull. Actually they were not so much dull, as they were just like most other companies commercials of the time. Perhaps just getting their name across, but really, very dull.

These new white board commercials, from my perspective anyway, are a giant step forward for your company, because it shows that someone there, has a sense of humor, which has traditionally been lacking at Big Brown. I think they are really very good, and perhaps are just a stepping stone (commercial wise) to better and better commercials to come in the future.

Anyway, just my take.
