Ok, so you're making around 30 grand a year flying single-engine, VMC, and at 10,000 feet? Yee haw. I'm not trying to start a flame war, but our 1st year Captains actually average around 34 grand a year and that's just the 75 hr guarantee + per diem. The ABQ Captains probably average 43 grand a year. Yeah the pay still sucks but I wouldn't exactly consider that "lowering the bar." Especially flying a 19 seat turboprop.
