Anyone here ever fly a hang glider?

If not, you owe it to yourself to do it, even if just once in your life. It'll give a whole new meaning to flying.

Its sort of like eating an old shriveled up tomato in your burger at BK, and then comparing that to an organic home grown tomato free from all intrusion. Are both tomatoes? Yes. But the experience of the latter is more what God intended (before the FAA came in and screwed it all up).

There is something that takes your breath away to hang up there with nothing but cloth lapping lightly above your head, and the only noise is the light wind of your forward movement. Its as close to being a bird as we terrestrial beings can ever be.

Engines help to drag you further though.
