I always agreed a vote for the GOP is like the chicken voting for Col. Sanders. I think a perfect example of this is the contrast over this vote. Watch the interviews on CNBC of Corker (R-TN) and then later Gettelfinger if they are available on-line. The e-mail Gettelfinger had is how the majority of the GOP feel.
It's funny all the subsidies given to foreign automakers to locate in their respective states, (which by the way are the senators not supporting the big 3), which are not repaid, but a loan to our own big 3 have stipulations aimed at labor or no deal. Who do you think will be by our side when cabotage is front and center? I assure it will not be the ones with the R beside their name.
Is bashing the GOP considered a political discussion? Well, since no moderator has stepped in telling us we can't discuss politics on this forum I am going to respond to this.
The Democrats, and specifically liberals are to blame for all of this. They impose high taxes on corporations while supporting labor unions in their quest to earn the highest wages and benefits for the least amount of work.

Because the foreign automakers have their act together. The big 3 build junk and then overprice it.
