You can buy a leather bag, but you might consider a synthetic bag instead. After 20+ years as an airline pilot (dragging my leather flight bag around), they take a beating in everyday life. Especially when deadheading and loading/unloading into hotel vans. Rampers don't treat the flight bag with any respect as they drop them on a wet ramp or toss them in the cargo bin. The bag handles are often the weakest link on the bag... leading to replacement after a few years. Why spend lots of dough on a flight bag, when a lesser expensive alternative will do? Ask your spouse and find out what he'd like... but I think its worth considering the alternatives. BTWm You could spend the difference at Victoria Secret and buy a few DVD/RWs to record a holiday message for your husband to take with him on airline trips.
