Currently DALPA is taking the side of Delta Management and NWA Management on the trip rigs. From what has been posted on the NWA board we are about 400 or so pilots short when we switch to DAL rigs.

If you are a bottom dweller on on the list from either company call your reps. We need to get this changed for the benefit of all pilots.

Lets say that ACL is right on the parking of aircraft. Lets also say that no NWA aircraft are parked, i.e. the 9 replaces an rj route. So now the company is fat 400 or so pilots. The majority of furloughs are going to come from the DAL side of the list.

If we are short on the NWA side there will be seats for these guys to crossover into. Yes Ralphie it may be the DC-9 but it pays better then the unemployment line.

Call your reps and tell them to get the work rules the same on both sides. The job you save might be your own.
