UAE is a pretty nice place to hang your hat for few years. Cost of living however, is quite steep.

I interviewed with Flydubai in October. There were omissions, whether intention or otherwise, from the actual pay and benefits package contained in their e-mail versus the formal contract, relating to base pay housing allowance, guaranty pay and a $25,000 training bond even for initial cadre! Based on actual numbers, you will not be able to save as much as you would hope to… especially if you have children and want to send them to a decent school.

Emirates would be my first choice.

In any event, they have suspended interviews and hiring until they know when they can expect to take delivery of their aircraft.
