I thought that CAL DID interview those guys after the IPO/spinoff, and gave them conditional letters that they would get class dates when CAL hired again. But like you said, they didn't get the same things the original FTA's got.
I was talking about Schindler's list and now that I think about it, there was 118 of those if I remember right. They went over under the original flow-through and kept their pay and vacation if I remember right. The other guys were the P.I.G.S. They had to interview, although it was really just a technicality, and they started over with newhire pay and vacation.
