You get a recall letter to come back and be the last guy on the list flying the 88 in NYC. Do you have to come back or can you bypass until you can hold something better while being the #1 guy on the E-jet? The CAL guys could bypass recall if they took the furlough, but if they took the flow-back they could not bypass and had to come back to CAL when they got the recall.
If you accrue longevity while at Compass and can bypass recall and stay at Compass, I think alot more guys would take the flow back.
I believe that the LOA states that you are given one option to flow up, and if you turn it down, you stay at CPZ and are protected (up to 10% of the list) from further flow backs. However, I don't think you get offered another chance to flow up.
Anyone else have more info on this?
