Any one can make an airplane go strait and level and by the time you have passed a CFI check ride you should be able to make an airplane go where you want it. I totally agree with FLYBOYMATTHEW, what you really gain in teaching is the decision making skills and situational awareness skills. A monkey can be trained to make an airplane fly but he cant make the decisions when things dont go as planned. The experiences gained through teaching allows you to deal with the unplanned, even though your hands are not the ones on the controls.
